You Should Avoid

Everyone makes mistakes and bloggers are no exception. The question here is how to avoid them and achieve better results with your blog.
We have rounded up the most widespread mistakes that bring the biggest harm to your blog. Here are things you might be doing wrong:

  1. Lack of understanding of your target audience. Find out your readers’ needs and interests. Try to predict their desires. This is the only way to sink into their hearts.
  2. No promotion. Make it easy for readers to find your content by promoting the blog across social media and other traffic channels.

Recommendations for Your Blog

I receive plenty of emails asking for advice about how to blog, about blog topics and about creating meaningful content. These are the answers and recommendations we tend to give.
1.          Define Your Ideal Readers; Once you’ve found your niche, you need to know who will be reading your blog. For example, we blog about living intentionally. Thus, our ideal readers are people who are interested in exploring minimalism so they can clear the path toward more meaningful lives. If you want to write about your newborn baby growing up, that’s wonderful: your ideal readers are probably your friends and family. If you want to write about restoring classic cars, that’s cool, too. Tailor your writing to your readers (whether it’s your family or local community or whoever else will read your blog).

How Do You Get Traffic To Your Blog?

And once your blog is up and running,  Social media is one of the best ways to advertise your blog, and it only takes the presence on a couple of social networking sites to gain exposure and increase the web traffic to your site.
Identify your target demographic for your blog post and then research which social media platforms this demographic is more likely to use. A few examples of frequented social media sites include Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. It takes hard work and dedication to build a community online and find the best platform in which to share your blogging content. GOOGLE BLOGGER allows you to share your content to social networks and also gives you stats right.
